DJ Who... industry nice-guy, creatively in-tune, forefront of the Gen-Y DJ.

Melbourne born & bred, Who made his debut to the scene circa 2005, as soon as he was of legal age. Musically inclined since his childhood, it was hip-hop that originally blossomed Who's interest in the role of the 'DJ.' Training and competing for the DMC Championships led Who to meet fellow like-minded DJ’s, whom acted as mentors giving him an introduction to the 'club DJ.' From that moment new goals and objectives were set!

Coming from a background in hip-hop led Who to explore the roots of the sample based music, leading him on a voyage through disco, soul, funk and beyond. Later playing the club circuit would expose him to more electronic & dance based music, further broadening his sound & musical appreciation. It is this healthy appreciation of music as a whole, rather than limiting himself by genre or style, that is what gives Who versatility as a DJ.

Whist others have come and gone, Who has maintained long jeopardy as a permanent staple to the Lucky Coq DJ roster since opening its doors in 2006. His versatility has seen him feature at most of Lucky Coq's special events, including the Lucky Coq/Bimbo Deluxe stage at Future Music Festival and the “Best Of Both Side” festival. He has been integral to the musical direction across many of the weekly nights, in particular Free Range Funk Thursday's.

In addition to Lucky Coq, Who maintains a full-time DJ schedule, also holding residencies at Melbourne institutions: Bimbo Deluxe, Revolver Upstairs, The Toff In Town, The Lounge, Section 8, not to mention regular guest spots around town.

2005 through til present -----> Bars, Pubs, Clubs, Parties, Recoveries, Supports, Festivals, Radio, Promotion, DJ Battles, DJ Tuition.

With the Melbourne club scene dominated by veteran DJ’s, or young promoters pressing "play" on cd's, Who brings a freshness and a young exuberance to Melbourne night life.
